Acceptable Use Policy
1. PURPOSE
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) establishes mandatory standards for lawful, responsible, and integrity-preserving use of the Plucasa platform (the “Platform”). This AUP is incorporated into and governed by the Platform’s Terms and Conditions. Violation of this AUP may result in warnings, content removal, escrow holds, administrative fees, account restrictions, suspension, termination, permanent bans, or referral to regulatory or law enforcement authorities. Plucasa retains sole discretion in interpreting and enforcing this Policy.
2. GENERAL CONDUCT REQUIREMENTS
Users must:
- Act honestly and in good faith.
- Provide accurate and non-misleading information.
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
- Safeguard account credentials.
- Respect other Users and administrators.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Use the dispute mechanism responsibly and in good faith.
Users are responsible for all activity conducted through their accounts.
3. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
The following activities are strictly prohibited: 3.1 Illegal Conduct
- Using the Platform in violation of applicable law.
- Facilitating money laundering, fraud, sanctions evasion, or unlawful
financial activity.
- Circumventing gambling, crypto, or regulatory restrictions applicable
in your jurisdiction.
- Using the Platform to disguise illicit proceeds.
3.2 Fraud and Deception
- Publishing fraudulent or knowingly misleading Predictions.
- Misrepresenting event criteria.
- Fabricating evidence in disputes.
- Submitting knowingly false or abusive dispute claims.
- Coordinating false disputes to trigger administrative review.
- Manipulating settlement outcomes.
- Engaging in self-dealing to artificially inflate ratings or metrics.
3.3 Escrow & Dispute Abuse
- Attempting to exploit timing windows.
- Coordinating to force unfair refunds.
- Filing repetitive, bad-faith disputes.
- Using multiple accounts to manipulate transactions.
- Attempting to reverse or bypass blockchain-based settlement mechanisms.
- Abusing the dispute system in a manner that burdens administrative
review. Users acknowledge that abuse of the dispute system may result in enforcement measures in addition to the €10 Dispute Administration Fee where applicable. 3.4 Account and Identity Misuse
- Impersonating another person.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade enforcement.
- Using false or misleading identity information.
- Transferring accounts without authorization.
3.5 Platform Manipulation
- Artificially inflating ratings, reviews, or engagement.
- Coordinated activity to distort performance metrics.
- Exploiting bugs, vulnerabilities, or logic errors.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code.
- Scraping, data harvesting, indexing, or systematic extraction of
Platform data without written authorization.
- Using automated bots, scripts, or crawlers without explicit written
approval. 3.6 Harassment and Harmful Conduct
- Harassment, threats, intimidation, or abusive language.
- Hate speech or discriminatory content.
- Content promoting violence, illegal activity, or unlawful conduct.
3.7 Technical Abuse
- Introducing malware, viruses, or malicious code.
- Conducting denial-of-service or infrastructure attacks.
- Attempting unauthorized access to accounts or systems.
- Interfering with security mechanisms.
- Circumventing rate limits or risk controls.
4. PREDICTION CONTENT STANDARDS
Predictors must:
- Clearly state event details and objective settlement criteria.
- Avoid exaggerated or deceptive performance claims.
- Avoid guarantees of outcome.
- Publish only content they are authorized to use.
- Ensure Predictions are sufficiently specific to permit objective
settlement review. Plucasa may remove or restrict content that is misleading, fraudulent, low-quality, abusive, or harmful to Platform integrity.
5. USER-GENERATED CONTENT RESPONSIBILITY
Users are solely responsible for content they publish. User content must not:
- Infringe intellectual property rights.
- Violate applicable law.
- Contain defamatory or false statements.
- Reveal confidential information.
- Violate privacy rights.
Plucasa may moderate, remove, restrict, or archive content at its discretion without prior notice.
6. SECURITY OBLIGATIONS
Users must:
- Protect login credentials.
- Use secure wallet practices.
- Notify Plucasa of suspected unauthorized access.
- Not attempt to bypass security controls.
- Not exploit reported vulnerabilities.
Security vulnerabilities must be reported responsibly and may not be exploited for advantage.
7. ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITY
Plucasa reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
- Investigate suspected violations.
- Request additional information.
- Delay or freeze escrow settlement where abuse is suspected.
- Restrict account features.
- Suspend or terminate accounts.
- Implement risk-based limitations.
- Report unlawful conduct to authorities.
Administrative determinations are final within the Platform. Enforcement actions may be taken without prior notice where necessary to protect Platform integrity, Users, or compliance obligations.
8. ENFORCEMENT MEASURES
Enforcement actions may include:
- Warning notices
- Feature restrictions
- Escrow holds
- Administrative review
- Account suspension
- Permanent termination
- Balance offset for unpaid administrative fees
- Legal action
- Law enforcement referral
Plucasa is not obligated to provide detailed explanations for enforcement decisions.
9. REPORTING VIOLATIONS
Users may report suspected violations through:
- In-platform reporting tools
- support@plucasa.com
- legal@plucasa.com
False, malicious, or abusive reports may themselves constitute violations of this Policy.
10. COMMERCIAL MISUSE
The Platform may not be used for unauthorized commercial redistribution, resale of Platform data, or replication of settlement logic without written authorization.
11. POLICY UPDATES
Plucasa may modify this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updates.
